Objective of IQAC

General Objective:

To promote quality culture within the university

Specific Objectives:

i. To review existing policies, procedures and programs of the Khulna University

ii. To assess the capacity of the university and identify the strengths and areas for improvement in governance, teaching learning process, faculty qualifications, research activities, student service, library resources, community outreach and other relevant components of the university

iii. To conduct massive orientation and training to teaching, non-teaching staff and management

iv. To prepare the university to undergo the external quality assurance assessment and accreditation requirements

v. To coordinate all quality assurance (QA) related activities at the institution and national levels, and liaison with UGC and other external QA agencies

vi. To institutionalize quality assurance culture within the university

Since its inception in 2014, Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) has been continuously focusing on quality enhancement at Khulna University. Counseling and motivating the fresh students, assisting job-seekers, standardizing academic calendar, self-assessment, peer review, outcome-based curriculum development, orientation to updated teaching-learning approaches, encouraging research and development, refining office management including financial and administrative aspects, skill development of the officers and staffs, arranging foundation training for young faculties, continuous training for quality enhancement of the faculty members, assisting in formulating policies etc. are core areas where IQAC has been intensively working through active cooperation and support of the university administration, internal and external resource persons, and associated stakeholders including event participants. Program-level accreditation will be another prime task of IQAC in the coming days.
